Blackpool Music Run 2019 10k/5k returns to the promenade again this year with a whole host of running, family activities and bundles of great music

Blackpool Music Run is a 10K and 5K fun run along the world-famous Blackpool Promenade, which will be closed to traffic during the event . Entrants to either event will receive a bespoke medal and chip timing along with water, live music entry to Finishers Festival and Run Rewards.

The event will be held on Sunday 16 June (Fathers Day) and will be supporting Global charity, ‘The Movember Foundation’ who’s aim is to stop men dying too young. The charity is something everybody at #BMR2019 is proud to support.

New for 2019 are Run Rewards, each entrant to Blackpool Music Run 10k and 5k will get access to Run Rewards. A new initiative aimed at offering entrants to #BMR2019 even more value for money.

Run Reward cards will be sent out to entrants before the event and the cards can be used of the weekend of 15 and 16 March to access lots of deals. Deal include, a free pint at 1887 Brew Room, 20% off Ascent Trampoline Park, a Free Gillette Razor and much more.

As always Blackpool Music Run is proud to support local acts and we have over 15 acts already announced with further announcements still to be made. Oceans over Aldereen, Ellie Dibben and Tongue of Fire will be returning for the event and we have new acts to the event including, X’Centrics and Passmore.

Blackpool Music Run Finishers Festival is also back bigger and better for 2019 with the festival being held on the Tower Festival Headland. Over 20 live acts will be performing throughout Blackpool Music Run many of them will be at the Finishers Festival, there will also be food and drink on sale at the festival and lots more for all the family with the event being hosted By Blackpool’s own Hayley Kay.

As with last year the promenade stages and runners are all free to view, charges are only made for people willing to participate in the run.
