Don’t forget to register for Wyre’s green waste collection service

Wyre residents are reminded to register for this year’s green waste service for an easy, clean and quick way to dispose of garden waste.

Wyre residents that would like to have their garden waste collected this year need to subscribe and pay for the service by 1 April. This will ensure that they don’t miss any collections when the 2017/2018 service year starts on 1 May.

It is quick and easy to register and pay online at www.wyre.gov.uk/greenwaste.

The cost remains the same at £30 for the first bin and £25 for any additional bins registered at the same time. The charge works out at £1.36 per collection with a minimum of 22 collections per year.

Residents registering before 26 March will have the option to pay by Direct Debit.

Anyone that joined the scheme last year still needs to register for the 2017/18 service.  New stickers will be issued from the middle of April for residents who have subscribed.
