Redrow is banging the drum for this year’s Poulton Gala after announcing sponsorship of the landmark community event.

The Gala, which has been an annual staple in Poulton’s diary stretching back for decades, is being held on Saturday 2nd June. Organisers are promising this year’s magic themed event will be bigger and better than ever before and Redrow is proud to put its backing behind the event.

Lesley Myers, sales manager for Redrow Homes said ‘We have a real affinity with the community of Poulton having launched our Pavilion and Oldfield Park developments within the town’s beautiful setting. Poulton Gala is a tremendous event that brings people of all ages together and we are excited to be sponsoring what promises to be another special day for the town.’

People of all ages are expected to congregate for Poulton Gala’s ‘Big Parade’, which will be headed by the award-winning Poulton Band, starting at 12pm. The parade will set-up and leave from the town’s Civic Centre car park and follow a newly-extended figure-of-eight route, taking in all the main shopping streets before finishing in Market Place, where the new Gala Queen will be crowned by the retiring Gala Queen.

The parade will be the pinnacle of a day packed with family entertainment, kicking off at 10am and running through to 5pm in Market Place. Music, dance displays and stalls will feature with some additional surprises in store for people who attend.

Steve Nicholls, Poulton Gala Chairman, said ‘The theme of this year’s event is magic and we cannot wait to see the delight on people’s faces when they turn out for the Poulton Gala – a lot of hard work has gone into planning something truly special. We are thrilled to have Redrow on board, providing sponsorship and promoting a positive community occasion in the process.’

Redrow’s Poulton developments include Oldfield Park, which is around a mile from the town centre, and currently boasts three and four-bedroom homes from £309,995; whilst The Pavilion is right at the heart of Poulton, close to the train station, and currently has the four-bedroom detached Pembroke home from £272,995
