B
lackpool’s most colourful beach event is back again for another colourful burst of fun running as the Colour Splash returns on Sat 27th July.

The Coloursplash is fun a fun event taking place every year to raise funds for Trimity Hospise, it’s a 3k run, jog or walk on the beach with the participants being bombarded with bursts of colour powder throughout.

Join the crowd on the beach at Starr Gate, and pass through SEVEN Colour Splash paint stations where you will be covered with powdered paint by the Colour Splash Squad – as you head down the beach for 1.5km towards St Annes. You’ll then do a u-turn and head back up the beach to the finish line.

Simply wear a white t-shirt and by the finish you’ll be wearing every colour of the rainbow!

Trinity Hospice provide compassionate care on the journey towards the end of life. By 2020 everyone on the Fylde Coast should have access to good end of life care in the place they choose: the hospice, the hospital, a residential nursing home or their family home. With your entry fee just covering the cost of the event, any additional donations or sponsorship will go directly towards care for families in our local community. There’s no minimum sponsorship requirement but they do ask that every participant try to raise over £30. By taking part and fundraising you help us them continue to provide this much needed care.

To take part as a runner or paint station sponsor head to www.trinityhospice.co.uk.
The event takes place on Sat 27th July
