Business success was celebrated last night at the Wyre Business Awards 2017.

The event, sponsored by the NPL Group, Regenda Homes and Links Signs and Graphics, was a black-tie gala dinner held at Marine Hall in Fleetwood attended by businesses from across Wyre and the Fylde coast, partner organisations, event sponsors and award judges.

Robert McFarlane, Chairman NPL Group said: “NPL Group are delighted to be a main sponsor for the Wyre Business Awards 2017 for the second year in a row. We recognise that all sizes and types of businesses play an important role in the Wyre economy.

Over the past 12 months, considerable progress has been made in securing new opportunities for Hillhouse and we will shortly have an approved Masterplan for the Enterprise Zone which will deliver significant investment and job opportunities for Wyre.”

“Links Signs and Graphics are extremely proud to be involved as sponsors at such an event celebrating Businesses in Wyre.

“Over the years we have built strong links with many, many businesses across Wyre and really look forward to the recognition on the night for everyone that is involved with the 2017 Wyre Business Awards” said Shaun Bennett Managing Director of Links Signs and Graphics.

The celebration event was attended by over 250 business people from across Wyre. There were over 180 nominations for the awards across fifteen different categories. The judging panel included Principal of Myerscough College Ann Turner, Station Director of Radio Wave Paula Davies, Marketing Lancashire, Boost Business Lancashire and John Gillmore from BBC Radio Lancashire.
