Everyone’s favourite Frozen characters are coming to Wyre this February half term with free outdoor theatre performances and workshops for families and children.
Wyre Council is working with Gambolling Arena Theatre Company to host a number of free, chilly outdoor Frozen performances in Garstang and Poulton-le-Fylde, so wrap up warm.
Meet Anna as she sets out on a journey to find her sister, Elsa, who has the power to turn items into ice. Singalong to all of your favourite songs and have your photo taken with the characters.
Plus, join us for a fun workshop and learn how to build the perfect snowman with our princesses. Then, learn how princes and princesses dine for dinner with the royal etiquette class and how to curtsy or bow to the Queen of Arendelle herself, Elsa.
Councillor Lynne Bowen, Leisure, Health and Community Engagement Portfolio Holder at Wyre Council, commented: “We are proud to be offering this free event for residents of Wyre.
“Free events like these are made possible by the Welcome Back Fund, we hope you all enjoy meeting your favourite Frozen characters and singing along to your favourite songs.”
The first event will take place at Jean Stansfield Park on Thursday 17 February 2022 with the Frozen workshop at 11am, followed by performances at 1pm and 3pm.
On Friday 18 February, the Frozen workshop will be held outside the Visit Garstang Centre next to Booths (Cherestanc Square, Rope Walk, Garstang, Preston PR3 1EF) at 11am. There will also be two performances at Moss Lane playing field (Moss Lane, Garstang, Preston, PR3 1HB) at 1pm and 3pm.
The event is completely free and there’s no need to book a ticket.
