Blackpool Festival To Screen The England Match This Saturday!

Football fans attending Blackpool Festival this weekend will be thrilled to learn that the event will be screening the England vs Sweden quarter final match. At no extra cost to festival goers, organisers will erect an LED screen at the music festival, which takes place at the Tower Festival Headland from Friday 6th July to Sunday 8th July. This newly added football fan zone is believed to be the only outdoor screen streaming the momentous game in Blackpool on Saturday.
As England’s footballing legends will grace the big screen, the world’s musical legends will take to the five stages at Blackpool Festival. These include a Lancashire exclusive live set from the chart topping Example, a DJ set from Faithless, US house legends Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry and Erick Morillo, Blackpool’s own Danny Howard (BBC Radio 1) and Hacienda resident DJ, Graeme Park plus loads more. Sunday at Blackpool Festival stages the town’s first one-day family festival, ‘Party On The Prom’, with entertainment that all the family can enjoy, including CBeebies’ Andy Day, meet and greets with TV favourites Rex The T-Rex, Peter Rabbit and Peppa Pig Story Time, dancing with Raver Tots, science, baking and drumming workshops, and much more besides.
Friday and Saturday day tickets are still available from £40 plus booking, and from £55 plus booking for a family-of-four on Sunday. For other ticketing options including weekend and VIP passes, visit  www.blackpoolfestival.co.uk
